Larissa also has interests in the treatment of stuttering and voice disorders, and has completed training in the Lidcombe Program for stuttering management and the Estill Voice Training model. Together with Anita, Larissa addresses communication and social skills in sessions combined with music written by Anita which specifically targets the therapeutic goal. Larissa values an holistic approach to therapy, and loves to witness the satisfaction clients and their families achieve by creating, reviewing and reaching their goals. Her continuing education in the area of childhood trauma and psychosocial support of clients of all ages has shaped her ability to empathically relate and support the clients, families, students and therapists who attend and work at Relate Therapy Services. Larissa is a member of Speech Pathology Australia, is Hanen Certified, and has also completed training in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach to feeding, Circle of Security Parenting and is a certified PEERS® Social Skills Program provider. Larissa is committed to lifelong learning and regularly attends professional development events around Australia.
