Relate Therapy Groups

At Relate Therapy Services we value the difference that working in a therapy group can make to success in achieving an individual’s goals.

A range of groups are offered based on the need of individuals attending for Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Counselling. These include social skills, feeding therapy, school readiness and Speech Pathology/OT groups. Wherever possible we aim to specifically integrate those with similar goals, and therefore always arrange an individual session prior to adding a participant to any of our group programs.

At times when a participant may not yet be ready for group therapy, or their goals require a specific focus from more than one discipline, sessions involving 2 therapists may be offered. At Relate we currently offer SPOT (Speech Pathology & Occupational Therapy) and Music in Therapy (Speech Pathology, Counselling & Music). Our music groups are unique and engage the client in singing, instrumental playing and therapeutic song writing specific to their goals.
